Pasadena Police Department congratulates Brett Boynton on retirement after 35 years of exemplary service.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Brett Boynton on his recent retirement from our department. Brett began his law enforcement career with the Pasadena Police Department in 1986 after serving in the United States Navy for four years. After joining the police department, Brett worked all three patrol shifts until he was selected to join the Motorcycle Division in 1992. Brett said, “Working in the Motors Division was the best job of my life. I actually got paid to ride a motorcycle.” When Brett left the Pasadena Police Department in 2014, he went to work for the Polk County Texas Sheriff’s Department and then Precinct 2, where he served as a Sergeant over the Motor Division, Courts, and the Warrant Task Force. Brett returned to the Pasadena Police Department in 2019 and, for the past 4 years, has been assigned to the Day Shift Patrol Division. Brett is married to his beautiful wife, Laura, and has 3 sons. Brett plans on enjoying his retirement by playing golf every chance he gets and continuing to travel the world. Congratulations, Brett, on your much-deserved retirement, and we wish you the best as you begin the next chapter in your life.
